I'm looking to upgrade the standard brakes on my 2001 XKR conv to Brembo's. What dimensions can I fit both for pads and rotors? I will also be fitting 19in wheels all round.
Thanks
Nicholas

XKR brake upgrade?
your best solution would be to use the same brembos jaguar used on the silverstone in 2001 and then on all R starting 2003.
looks aside, for street use even agressive driving on open roads, i find the stock brakes (non brembo) to be enough. no fade, etc... the only time I've run into fading was on track. I've only used the XKRon track once (i usually prefer the E-type for track fun) on the road course at Atlanta Motor speedway and after a few laps, brakes became an issue hauling down the car from 130 for the chicane on the back straight. I've never upgrade the brakes because of the cost since i normally don't track the R.
but again, get the same brembos as jaguar used.

XKR brake upgrade?
Actually I'm fitting Antera 349 wheels - even better then these. I'd like upgraded brakes as A the performance will be better and B they look better with these wheels. Would appreciate any help.

XKR brake upgrade?
I don't know the answer to that question, but nice wheels. I've had my XKR for about 6 months now. Why are you upgrading the brakes? I put a Quick Silver exhaust on mine, have you done any other mods?
Have a March delivered 05 XKR Coupe with "Daytona" BBS' and the Brembos. They are extremely good performers though no track experience yet. I would agree with Pascal- get em!
