Thanks for responding. After I picked up a virus last week the car wasnÔÇÖt the only thing coughing and spluttering. Feeling better today and found a rebuild kit online (hereÔÇÖs a link if anyone else is interested -- http://www.bpnorthwest.com/carburetor-rebuild-kit-xke-69-71-xj6-69-77.html). (XKs or others may have the same/similar, but the one I saw at XKs was for the V12/Ser. III.) BTW, IÔÇÖm not affiliated with any parts dealers.
