American Designer Raymond Lowey sent an XK140 to Italy in 1956, for a complete rebody. This was the result. It may look strange, but if you look closely, you can see that bits and pieces of this design were recycled by Lowey and other American designers: the "c" cove in the early Mustangs, the bubble top in the first generation Barracuda, and the tail treatment in the Avanti.
