Found this post on a car spotting site and thought I would verify if the car is indeed a replica or not - the wheels and aftermarket stereo alone seem to rule it out as being original - what do you guys think?

Is this SS 100 real or fake?
Nine dollar bills from England, too!

I beg to disagree. Not only is that a totally genuine factory SS100, but as soon as they finish drying on the clothes line I will have a suitcase full of nine dolllar notes to pay for it.

Here's one, 10,000 miles, already gone through, spent a lot of money, wants even more, and look!
Same bumpers, hubcaps, wing mounted Federal Turn Signals, and windscreen frame!

We are serious?
Signed up today, first post, and you link us to a rotted fibreglass VW based kit car?
Stellar bumper there...looks like part of an old weight set.
Value, as is?
About $50.....as long as the seller pays someone that amount to haul it away.
To answer your question, not one Jaguar part on that.
Or SS part.
I think Pter means nine bob notes and translated it for the naive, until you have seen the rest of it who knows, I find the radiator cap/ornament very interesting.
