I am looking for a triple check valve for my 1995 XJS Conv. 4.0L Six
It has been at Jag of Las vegas for a week while they have tried to find the part with no luck. This is the vacuum valve that holds the middle air conditioning ports open. Mine works fine until I accelerate, then the air flow drops off to almost nothing. As soon as I stop accelerating, it works fine again. They have tried several other Jag dealers but no one seems to have the part. They are now trying to substitute another part for that one but can't find one that will work.It's not a killer problem but it is annoying, especially here in the desert.

James, the problem is not the valve, the problem is the vacuum reservoir has insufficient vacuum to keep things working under wide open throttle situations, I would suspect the one way valve to the reservoir to be faulty or even missing. Why would you take it to a new car dealer anyway, few of them have any knowledge of older cars.
