George, I understand your comment and the associated dangers relative to the
UNC crowd. They say, If God did not love Carolina, why did he make the sky
Carolina blue? Well, be that as it may, I still llike silver.

Dale are you sure the UNC mafia will allow a change from Tarheel blue? JK

The dark opalescent gray with red interior is to die for.
My personal opinion.

Thanks George for your response, This E-type currently has a faded light blue, what's
left of it. I am currently soda/sand blasting the entire disassembled vehicle, and can change
colors. I don,t like this powder girl blue, but silver sounds attractive, with a light brown
interior, or maybe light gray. Where can I get a silver color chip?

Right here!!! Unless the car was ordered with a "special" color which will be recorded on the certificate/ build sheet the colors for 1971 in the USA/NA were Ascot Fawn, Black, British Racing green,Dark Blue, Light Blue, Old English White,Pale Primrose, Regency Red, Sable, Signal Red, Silver Grey, Willow Green--with some name changes and slight code change the same as for 1970. Hope this helps.
I like them all but Silver does work--esp with dark blue int. Good luck.
