I've replaced the hood (convertible top) on my 73 Series 3 but there is a gap behind the roll up windows. If I could get the center bow to rise higher it would cause the rear of the head to move forward and fill the gap. Can this be adjusted by loosening and moving the four mounting bolts securing the frame to the car body?

The rear window seal holder is mounted with nuts and there are slots on the holder to allow fore and aft movement. Check and see if the holder is already moved as far forward as possible. You do have to take the chrome off and loosen the top to move it forward.
