ARE THERE ANY PROBLEMS USING GASOLINE WITH ETHANOL
IN MY '73 V-12? IF SO, WHAT BRAND DOES NOT CONTAIN THEM?
THANK YOU

No, not really....there's not much you can do about it either as all brands now have ethanol (thanks to our governments ultimate wisdom). Just use the highest grade of a good gasoline and you should be fine. If not, your engine will tell you there's a problem.
I think there is a bigger problem with the gas going bad quicker than before. If you don't drive the car much, try to keep it at one-quarter tank, and if it sits for many months at a time, consider a fuel preservative. Not driving the car poses a bigger threat than doing so on new gasoline formulations.
There had been some thinking that the new formutaions attack the rubber in the carburetion system, but I don't think that's the case. Studies have shown that it does not.
A pint of Marvel Mystery oil in the tank couldn't hurt every now and then.
(I would avoid the off-the-shelf octane "additives" at auto stores. I used some once in a Dodge RamCharger truck and was sorry I did)
My opinion only.

If you believe the label, the Marine Stabil is designed to keep the ethanol from absorbing more water, which can eventually separate into its own bottom layer in your tank. Water absorption is probably the biggest problem with ethanol. I am using this product in the cars i dont drive that much. It works best if added to fresh gas.
