Hello All,

I am about to replace the yellowed fan blade on my 1990 XJS. I have been told it is possible to get the old one out without removing the shroud. I am skeptical & think it will require more than just removing the bolts and replacing. Any words of wisdom?

The way I did it was to remove the fan and the clutch as a unit. I then replaced the fan and reinstalled the clutch/fan unit.

One hint,. Get nylock nuts. The little factory lockwashers are kind of tricky to put on and keep on while working the nuts.
