I have a 95 XJS that only has the outside lights as tails as normal.
I re-wired the license light into the inner light sockets to get lights across the complete back for safty. The only problem I have is the instrument light comes on saying I have a bulb out but it goes off in about 30 sec. No more problems at all. Could this cause any problems in the future. I feel much safer driving at night now with these extra lamps.

The system is designed to lite the "bulb out " warning light for 30 seconds after you turn the lights on, if all is ok the lite will go out. This is normal
