Hello,
Just wondering if there is a deduction for a personalisation of ones own car in the championship or drivers class?
Are personal monograms (painted on driver's door) in the same category as pin stripes? or do they attract a penalty?
Cheers,

Actually, that would be covered. The factory put the Crest in place and the provenance proves that it needed to be there. There are many such abnormalities in Jaguar history. I had to judge an XJ Majestic at a number of shows. That was covered under the same rules, thus no judicial latitude would be required.

There seems to be a need for judicial latitude.
For example, if I bought HRH, the Late Queen Mother's personal car (likely a Daimler) would I really be expected scrape the Royal Crest off the car to save 2 points at a car show?
What happened to provenance?

The monogram would be considered a non-authentic embellishment. It looks like your deduction would be 2.0 for each side.

Re.: Personal Extras - Monogram
I would highly recommend that you download or at least look at the JCNA rule book that is available under Concours. To answer your question unless an accessory etc is listed in the Jaguar Parts Book or in a list of accessories published by Jaguar North America or Jaguar Canada Ltd for that model car a deduction will be given.
