I exchanged my wiper motor for a rebuilt one from Welsh. The old motor park position was fine but the new one is not right. It appears to come to a park position when switched off, but when turned on again it goes further down toward the body.Is there a park adjustment or should I return it?

There is a park adjustment. Welsh should be able to give you instructions. Otherwise, the Service Manual should cover it. Get a copy of Robert Bentley's, The Complete Official Jaguar E. As I recall, you loosen the plate and rotate the round cylinder, but which way and how much I can't recall. I did this once on a Bugeyed Sprite. The motors are similar.
