What is the best way to secure an e-type for tranport on a truck.
I am concerned about a mover who suggested that he use chains around the exles to tie down the car. Are the brake lines not running over the axles?
Any suggestions so i can sleep easier ?
Thanks
Marios

How to Transport an E-Type
No brake lines. They can secure the car with straps around the lower control arms, front and rear, and chock the wheels. But be warned that if they over tighten the straps, they can bend the arms. Also avoid chains and hooks, which can damage the paint and plating.

How to Transport an E-Type
THAT is a good question,Mick Yea baby, Behave.
If it isn't too late, I wouldn't ship with someone who intends to tie down an E Type with chains around the axles. What axles? 1969 E Type
