The Michigan Club really showed its club spirit on Sept 9 06 in the their judging and hosting of the event through truly inclement weather on Sept 9 06.
Kudos to the Michigan Club for a good show.

Michigan Concours Sept 9 06
Hi Dan, and thanks for the kind words! Jaguar people are hard to beat as there was no grumbling what so ever even through the lengthy down pour! We really appreciate all of you Canadians that come down, or is it over, every year even if nobody brought me a cup of Tim Horton's coffee this year!

Damn, you are right about the Tim Juice - what a faux pas! You will need a can for sharing around.
The US border guards were very interested in our "Tobacco" (looking for a Habanos stash maybe?).
The absolute lack of weather-whinging was very cool. I was impressed that the chap with early XKE (008?) did not bat an eye when his 100 point car was soaked over and over by the rain. I am now inspired to figure out how get our XKE to Michigan in 2007 --- hopefully in C-19, rain or shine.
Imitation being the best form of flattery: I intend to pass on my observations regarding some Michigan practices that would be good to try emulating at our local show pending in June, 2007.
This year, my sanctioned events were limited to 2 concours in NC area and 1 slalom but what fun we had (thanks to JCNA volunteers behind the scenses).
