Have looked at many web sites for my 73 E-type convertible and all prices are about $1300-$1500 without headrests. Looking for experiences/recommendations

Reupolstering seats
Bruce,
The former GW Bartlett Co. is now known as Original Specification Jaguar Interiors (OSJI) and is located in Muncie, about 1 hour from Indianapolis IN. I'm getting ready to have them do my 70 OTS.

At Bartlett, you can just ship the seats and they come back new. More expensive, but top notch. The seats are blasted , painted frames , the works.
When I did mine after 25 years, the cushions were so full that my head hit the roof for a couple of days....then all settled down.
Good luck.

Yes, the whole deal including head rests will run a couple big ones from the usual suspects. I do not know where you live, but you may want to check some local shops in your area, Some of the fellows that do custom hot rod stuff can work wonders.

Cliff, speaking of series two. Our seats had the headrest but the hole was added after the fact. I had them restore the seats WITHOUT the headrest and gives it more of a series one look.
You will not be disappointed with their work.
Good luck.
