Would someone have an FI intake valve that they could measure the length for me? I need the length from the face to the end of the stem.

Bob the answer is 4.175" that is for a new valve, often the valve stem is ground to obtain clearance if the seat has been ground to much. Jaguar affectionado and etc.

I always thought "F1" meant "Formula one" :-)
I'd try it this way : "F.I."

I guess that everyone who doesn't get rained on six months a year knows that F1 refers to fuel injection. Wheres your flight schedule?

Thanks William,Now I'm really confused as the new valves that I just purchased are 4.195 and the old 1.750 valves, new several years ago with uncut stems, are 4.140. Is that dimenison for a Jaguar dealer sourced valve or aftermarket?
