Wow, tough weekend at the Second Creek Raceway closing races. Brock wasn't up to his rambunctious self and he and Barbara had a generally bad weekend. The result was that I didn't have to pass Brock as he was never in front of the Mighty Roar Racing Jaguar Mk2. We got gridded with some massive competition from Corvettes, TransAm Camaros and Mustangs, Shelbys and a variety of winged and non-winged Porsches (all sporting 2.4 through 2.8L motors). Net result; raced my heart out for last place. My mentee/co-driver Lawrence Buja did much better, competing mid pack with Lotus 7s, various Triumphs, and such. The club 'hot' minis were lapping two seconds faster than the Mk2.
