I was wondering if anyone has succesfully upgraded their 290 hp XJ8. I'd like to boost the performance without having to change models or to spend significantly more for a higher power performance Jaguar model.

Any suggestions?

Michael,

There is a company in England that does a lot of upgrades to old and new XK and XJ engines. They are called AJ6 Engineering. (http://www.jagweb.com/aj6eng/) I've read many articles in the British car club magazines about their upgrades. You might look into what they offer.

Are you going to the Jaguar Auto Group picnic at Schooley's Mountain Park this coming Sunday? Bring the car out and we can all take a look at it and talk about things you might want to consider.
