Re.: XKE Parts Sources
John,
Welcome. I agree with Jeff's list. I buy a lot of stuff from SNG Barratt, but also use Terry's Jaguar, Welsh Enterprises, XK's, for specific things. Another favorite of mine is CoolCat Express (www.coolcatcorp.com). He offers upgraded fans, torsion bars, and lots of other goodies. For used parts, I often contact Stefan Roundy (stefanrbealenet.com), who parts out E-types. I've used Joe Curto to rebuild carbs and for parts for SU's and Strombergs, and he is great.
As Jeff said, there are a bunch of other specialty people who supply things like wiring harnesses, interiors, etc. Let us know what you are looking for and we can probably come up with some suggestions.

Re.: XKE Parts Sources
john,
Welcome!
There are lots of good parts suppliers. For most stuff I use SNG Barrett (603) 622-1050. However, there is also Terry's, Classic Jaguar, and XK's Unlimited (618-439-4444; 512-288-8800; and 800-444-5247, respectively).
I tend to shop but have found SNG is usually cheapest. XK's is almost always highest but has some of those parts others just don't seem to have.
There is also SICP (800-556-7496)and Mostly British (315-649-2861) which aren't Jaguar specialists but sometimes that works to your advantage as many british parts were common across cars and it is always cheaper if its foran MG than a Jag!
Then there is also special purpose vendors, Joe Curto for carbs, Classic Tube for brake lines, gas lines, clutch lines, etc. etc. As you run up against special nneds just post again.
BTW, where areyou located?

When ordering 'new' parts for your car from a supplier you may want to ask them if they are 'Jaguar parts' from England as made by a company authorized to made replacement parts by Jaguar Ltd..... or if they are reproductions......'knock-offs'.
With the British Pound so high & the Dollar low, a lot of parts are being made in 'China' and the quality & fit is questionable. Some times it is better to rebuild or recondition the original Jaguar part.
Good luck with your project.
