Re.: Dash Lights - 1989 XJ6
I had an '85 XJ6, it was extraordinarily important to make sure that all bulbs, when replaced, were replaced with bulbs of the correct wattage. Elsewise, strange things happened that seemed to defy all laws of physics.

Re.: Dash Lights - 1989 XJ6
well begin with fuses, also make sure that the dash dimmer, just isn't turned all the way down. If thats all OK, than it's time to pull out the headlight switch, and make sure it is working properly, and the power and grounds are OK. I have an '88, and a year ago, the circuit board on my headlight switch burned out, and I had no parking lights, but everything else worked. So just make sure nothing looks or smells burnt.
Thank you for your help. I will look at it this week. Dennis
