I'm the original owner of a black 1987 XJ6 and need to find a body shop and an interior shop somewhere near Boston MA or Providence RI. I live 30 miles south of Boston in Sharon MA, about half way to Providence RI. I've done extensive body work before in 1998, but need a re-assessment as to how to preserve the body at this stage. I also need a new head liner and other interior work.

The car has 123K miles and after excellent engine work by Top Line Jaguar in Lorton VA (where I used to live) runs wonderfully.

Any suggestions?

I would try BAS Ltd. or OSJI as well. BAS Ltd. in particular have the original factory blueprints and use original materials and colors. OSJI has been around for a long time. Though I have not tried World Upholstery myself, I can't say anything
bad about their products, not having seen them. Neither have I heard anything bad about them. But I have dealt with BAS Ltd. and OSJI (Original Specification Jaguar Interiors) and have never been dissapointed.
