I had the wiper motor rebuilt by Lucas last summer and have had trouble installing it. It seems that the arm to the wipers isn't quite long enough to fit into the gear/motor assembly. Any ideas ? It's LHD/MOD and has been converted to 12 volt neg ground. Thanks !

If I undertand the arm you are talking about is the end of the caable train. Just pull on it and it should move toward the motor. If you have the wipers on already take them off. If the train will not move you may have bound up the two gear boxes. I also believe that motor has an adjustable park switch. Have you tried to adjust that?
