Greetings,
I have a 1968 E type that is accumulating a film of exhaust soot on the underside and near the license plate area. I drive it on the weekends and when the weather is good. What is the best way and or product to remove the exhaust soot besides ole elbow grease that will not harm the paint or finish?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers-Gordon

Removing exhaust soot from paint
Try Fantastic spray, let sit for 30 seconds and gently wash off with a car wash sponge, mit or brush as you would wash a car. 409 works the same.
Dick,
The 409 worked like a charm, could not have asked for a easier solution, no mess, as soon as it was applied it dissolved the soot! Thanks
