I'm in the process of re-wiring the tail lights on my 1971 4.2L S2.
Each tail light has two bulbs, one of the bulbs has two filaments so there are three circuits; 1. Tail light 2. Brake light 3. Turn signal. Can someone tell me which which circuit goes to which bulb?
The way I found it was that the single filament (closer to the side of the car) bulb was wired to the brake light circuit. The smaller filament of the dual-filament bulb was wired to the tail light, and the larger filament of the dual-filament bulb was wired to the turn signal - for some reason this doesn't seem right to me.
I'd appreciate any information.
Thanks!

Red goes to the running lights and license light, green/purple to the brakes (both on the dual filament bulb), green or green/white to the turn signal (outermost bulb).
