My Jag is new to me but has a particular "problem" which the dealer does not even belive is happening. While running with key insterted and radio playing, car is stopped, shut off and key removed. The radio continues to play, even after leaving the car and locking it....
What is up with this? Is this normal? Hep me understand this baby?

Re.: Radio Bad Behavior
I don't know anything about the XK-8, but it sounds like a stereo-unit
problem which may not be specific to the XK-8. Contact a Stereo shop.

Sounds to me like the radio's power is connected somewhere other than from the accesories in the ignition,Meaning that the radio is getting a constant power even if the ignition is turned off.
Just trace the power wires back from the radio and you will have your answer.Hope you find it.
Have a good day.
