Hi I am a senior in High School and I'm doing a reserch project on Jaguar's. I have found out a lot of information but I haven't talked with anyone who owns a Jaguar. It would be great to hear from someone that has owned a Jaguar and can tell me what its like, did you buy it in great condition or did you fix it up? Any information would be great. I have owned several Jags over the years and the current XKE that I have once belonged to Max Weinberg who is the music director for the Conan O'Brian TV show and the drummer for Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band.Springsteen was a passenger in the car when Max owned it. In addition, the car was featured in a movie called "Passionada" featuring Jason Isaacs. There is (or was) a web page for that film showing my car and some photos were also on Isaacs's fan club web site a few months ago.
I think you might want to ask some more specific questions about Jaguars and owning, driving and restoring them. The more specific the question, the easier it is for people to answer you and the more organized you can be when you write your paper and do your research.Good luck with your project.
