I'm looking for sources where I can buy Poly Urethane bushings for the rear suspension radius/trailing arms of my '62 E-Type. I need to replace both the big front and small rear bushings.
Thanks for your responses.

Re.: Poly Urethane bushings for E trailing arms
I've heard the polys will result in a harsher ride; I used rubber (which don't last long either).

Re.: Poly Urethane bushings for E trailing arms
The question is, why would you want them? Trailing arm bushing compliance is the only thing that allows the rear axle to move. If you stiffen the bushing, you limit suspension travel. Gary Hagopian has posted an article on a valid way of improving the trailing arm setup: http://www.jcna.com/library/tech/tech0009.html
If you really want to try poly bushings, I think that Keisler carries them.

One source for these is a company (no affiliation) called xk's unlimited xks.com
I also believe cool cats has them too. They make great aftermarket fans also. Check out the forum on e-types at www.jag-lovers.org It has some good threads on these type bushings as well as links to vendors who carry them. Good luck.

Thanks to all for the sound and wise advice. Based on the input I got, I will install new rubber bushings.
