I have an 86 vanden plas and the radio will not work because I don;t have the right security code. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Hello there,
I had the same problem. My local dealer (245 km away),
advised me that I could remove the radio and get them to search the
serial # of it , or if I was really lucky there would be a small white
sticker on the inside of the bonnet - rear drivers side .
My number did not show up untill it was moistened, it will be a 4 or 5
digit #.
Be carefull, mine never appeared again...

look to see if you have a card within your owner's manual with the code. If not, go to your nearest Jag dealer, it may cost you about $70 or go into jaguar.com and it may cost you about $12 to download.
