Hello all, I have newly aquired this VDP; excellent condition ex. for some electrical gremlins which I have fixed, and the ride height trim system, which I have not. The level indicator for the hyd oil resevoir is indicating very low oil. the owners manual states the topping up should be performed by a dealer (Everything should be performed by a dealer!). The cap on the resevoir is very tight, and it appears that a special tool should be used to remov the retaining collar. The shop manuals give no further information. Given that the resevoir is plastic and hoses are retained by standard hose clips I assume there is no high pressure at the resevoir. So what is the best method to refill the resevoir?
Thank you in advance

John,
The cap on the 1988-89 HSMO reservoir is not made to come off. There is a special HSMO insertion tube attached to the proper bottles of HSMO you get from a Jaguar dealer or from the "usual suspect" Jag independent vendors.
