The weather was so glorious so I decided to take out the etype. What a ride, is there any other car that gives you the same feeling, all these years later.
Enjoy these days the summer is almost over

Jerry as a general rule from that period--anything Jaguar made as an E-Type consider 60 to 70% came to the USA. As far as Porter his numbers are often fuzzy and export did not mean LHD. There were still countries that took RHD.

The Phillip Porter book I have says in 67 for export sales which I assume would be LHD there were 2274 OTS, 1000 FHC and 902 2+2. Take a look at the JCNA Series 1.5 judges guide page 1 and 2. There are some numbers and info there about when the headlight covers came off that might help you

Had my '67 e-type tuned and its running great, really enjoying the summer with the e-type. But I do have a non-related question.

I just learned that my series 1 which has the uncovered headlights but with everything else in place is the rarest of the production e-types, there were a small number of these made before series 1.5 and series 2. From what I can ascertain there were about 1200-1400 of these made, most were right-hand drive, I'm trying to find out how many were left-hand drive and how many of those are left?
I would appreciate any information anyone would have on this, thanks.
