are there any upgrades for the factory alpine system, without changing anything on the dashboard ,all I want is it to be a little louder, maybe an inline amp or booster, something that plugs into the factory system . my car is a 2004 XJR thanks Mikey

I have heard that some cars have issues with the front door speakers not working. Have you checked them? Apparently the wires get corroded at the speakers and can be repaired.
I have a 2004 XJR and have no volume issues, perhaps, we simply have different preferences!
It may be worth checking all the speakers to be sure they work while you are at it
