greetings - im guessing this has been covered before but i cannot find it via the forum search - please forgive any redundancy!

I need to replace my original dunlop wires - they are too dented and untrue to be worth restoration. ... and was curious as to the current info regarding dunlop v Dayton wires on line, and what tires are great .... (are the Dutch Verdstein tires decent?)
I'm less concerned about price - more concerned about safety performance and reliability.
Tube vs tubeless? Dayton v Dunlop (which I'm now told are made in England again)?
Best 185/15 radial?
Any help and experience would be wonderful to hear - I imagine for other people on this forum as well.
Thank you !!

I'm about to mount new Vreds, same as Cliff's on original Dunlop wheels but have chosen to go with tubes. I did a lot of research and decided this is the best choice for summer, country road driving.

Greg,
For everyday driving (my style) I've had great success with the 5" Dayton tubeless wheels and the 185R15 Vreds from Holland. Actually, as I think of it, 1 wheel started to leak around the spokes after 12 years so I put a tube in it and drove on. About 6 years ago I got another set of the same combination for the other Jag. No issues so far.
