I am quite certain that this part is a piece of my '67 OTS. Problem is I can't remember where it fits and I do not see it in the spare parts book :) I guess this is a test for you the experts!

Anybody cares to step up under the spotlight?

the tab is the scratched up black tab just to the right of the front carb.
you should be able to see how it mounts from this.

Looks like the deflector that mounts on the ride side of the engine frame in front of the air intakes on the air filter.
The bolt tab is the top and mounts to the rail. I hope that makes sense. But i am guessing without uncovering my car to double check! I think it just blocks direct air and debris from the trumpets on the air box
