My 1969 4.2 E-type Series II has developed a hesitation on left turns. The car has the original twin Zenith/Stromberg carburation. There dosen't seem to be a fuel supply problem to the carbs, and the problem seems to be only on left turns. Before I pull the carbs and see what is going on, I thought I would ask if anyone had a quick answer.
Thanks,
Josh Bartlett

Stumble on left turns
I was having the same problem with my 1968. I checked the float levels on both of the carbs and found both were set to low. After resetting the floats no more flat spots on left turns.
Hope this works for you.

This probably isn't much help, but might make you smile.

I had a similar problem one time on another car. Turned out it was a loose battery ground connection.
Thanks!
That was what I was planning to check next.
