Hello, all. I was getting some minor maintenance done on the car this week and got to talking with my mechanic about doing some performance upgrades. I was curious if any of you all have gone a similar route with your V12 XJS. If so, what did you do, where did you start, and from whom did you get your parts?
It just seems to me that this engine is capable of a lot more than what we get out of it.
Thanks, a bunch!

High Performance XJS V12
Wow, that XJS is rather amazing. I will look forward to hearing from Art on this. If nothing else, let's hope that he can at least point me in the right direction!

High Performance XJS V12
Sounds like you need to speak with Art Dickerson on this forum... His "Silver" XJS appears to have been "tweaked" ;-)
This might help. I have an 87 Hess and Eisenhardt XJS that has K&N air filters, no cats, no mufflers but does retain the silencers. I have 245 60/15 B.F. Goodrich radial TA's on the rear and 235 60/15 on the front (I got a deal on them) but getting back to the point, when I hit the gas from a standing start I am tearing the tires loose every time. The engine has plenty of power but it just needs to breath. Let your engine breath and watch out.
