I got my first xke for Christmas (it only took 53 years) and I want to make sure I'm using the right oil in the gearbox. It's Castrol Hypoy C sae 80w90.

I have three shop manuals, including Bentleys and Haynes. However they don't use the exact verbage that's on the labels today so I thought I'd ask. Also I read a thread on this forum the other day about engine oils today not having zinc. I never would have known that if somebody hadn't asked. So I figured better safe than sorry. And yes I'm soo excited about this car. I've been trying to but it from a friend for 25 years, and he finally got tired of my nagging and sold it to me:) Thanks for the help.
