I am going to replace the tires on my '68 E-Type, due to age of the old tires. The tires on it now are 205/75 15. Are other tire sizes compatible? This size limits my choices.
Thanks

Re.: Tires for 68 E Type
Preston, mine blew up sitting in the sun in the driveway! This will be my second attempt to buy tyres on a previous suggestion the supplier said they had none. This time, I tried tirerack and they do not have them either!!

Re.: Tires for 68 E Type
The "blow out" happened while in garage, sometime after having driven it for it's weekly Sunday drive. Talk about being fortunate! Good Lord was looking out for me, as I could only imagine what would have happened if. it blew while driving!
I ordered the tires through my local service center that I have been using for years for all my cars. I saw them on Tirerack.com, though. They should be in next week.

Preston the original tyres for your car as well as a great replacement are available. 205 is too wide oon stock rims--what wheels do you have?
My tires were simply too old. I should have paid closer attention. Lesson learned!
