Any one recognize this harness diode? 70 FHC S2
Definitely a noise suppression capacitor. I had two of these on my '69. One on the fuel pump and one bolted to the upper left corner of the picture frame, which I believe was connected to the alternator. This one had it's lead cut at some point, so I'm not quite sure where it hooked in.

Kerry it is as William said--normally one on the coil --one on fuel pump and sometimes one on the alternator.

This is a capacitor used for radio interference on any number of components.

It appears to be a bypass-capacitor but I have no clue where it connects.
The radio and speakers have been changed out, so I want worry about using this unless the radio has noise, other then normal---
