Please make suggestions as to the best position for placing jack stands under an E-Type OTS. If if makes any difference, make suggestions for placing the car on 4 stands and also when just using 2 jack stands after tipping the car up on one side or the other using the jacking point at the middle on the side of the car.
Also, what other points are acceptable for jacking other than at the jacking point in the manual?
Thanks,

Best Positioning of Jack Stands
Robert i this case I thought not--I wanted to be very clear and SAFE! I will be glad to relay what we discussed but to write this operation is one thing--to actually talk it through gives feedback to make sure no one is harmed--or the car. I could have simply said "look at the manual" but in this case as I found out the only current manual he has is a Haynes which is as clear as MUD. Robert as you know I do post here but must use my judgement and knowledge of my poor writing skills to decide when to write and when to talk. Hope you understand.

Best Positioning of Jack Stands
George,
Wouldn't it be better to post this information in the forum? I am also interested to know the answer and one of the reasons that I read the forum posts is to gain this kind of knowledge.
I am a new member of JCNA so maybe there is a policy that I don't know about.
